Sustainability Measures

In alignment with our commitment to environmental responsibility, the organization has implemented a series of actions aimed at minimizing the ecological impact of the congress. These measures reflect our dedication to sustainability and our support for global efforts to protect the environment.

Digital Programme

The traditional printed programme has been replaced with a dedicated mobile application to reduce paper consumption

Electronic Presentations

Posters are presented exclusively in digital format via e-poster screens

Digital Certifications

All certificates (attendance, continuing education credits, speakers, moderators, and presenters) are issued electronically

Digital Signage

The use of printed signage is minimized. Any materials that must be printed will be recycled following the event

Tourist Information

City brochures are not included in the welcome kit. However, attendees may obtain them at a designated information point

Elimination of Single-Use Plastics

Name badges and accreditations are issued without plastic holders to avoid unnecessary plastic waste

Reusable Bottles

Plastic water bottles are not distributed. We encourage participants to use the available water refill stations and compostable cups

Eco-Friendly Materials

All materials provided to participants are made from recycled and sustainable sources

Local Catering

Catering services prioritise locally sourced and seasonal products, supporting the regional economy and reducing the carbon footprint

Food Waste Minimisation

Meal services are carefully planned and adapted to actual demand in order to reduce food waste

Support for Local Suppliers

The congress engages local providers and suppliers wherever possible to limit transportation emissions and foster community development
